How sales tax is calculated

Applicable sales tax is determined through the store checkout based on factors that can include the products ordered, shipping destination, applicable tax rules, and the store's current tax configuration.

The Rike does not use a blanket 10% sales-tax rate for every online order. The tax amount shown at checkout for a particular order is the relevant amount for that transaction, subject to any corrections required by law.

Taxes and shipping

Depending on the destination and applicable rules, tax may also apply to shipping charges. Any tax calculated by the store will be shown as part of the checkout total.

Tax-inclusive pricing

International orders

International orders may also be subject to import duties, taxes, brokerage fees, or customs charges imposed by the destination country. Unless checkout specifically states otherwise, these charges are the buyer's responsibility and are separate from amounts collected by The Rike.
